About

Indie Catholic Authors is an outgrowth of the Indie Catholic Authors Google+ Community owned by Connie Rossini. We are Catholics who have self-published or are considering self-publishing. We support each other by sharing resources and best practices, joint marketing, friendship, and prayer.

Our primary goal is to help one another successfully spread the Gospel and promote fiction and non-fiction books written with a Catholic worldview.

We seek to provide for individual authors some of the benefits they would normally have gotten from a publishing company. We hope to do many joint promotions, help writers find the services they need to turn out a professional product at a reasonable cost, and eventually work with distributors to get our books into brick-and-mortar stores.

Come join us!

All members pledge:

  • that they are faithful to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church
  • that their published writing is in accord with Catholic doctrine and morals
  • that they will support other members as detailed above

You do not have to be a published author to join us. We welcome those looking into self-publishing for the first time, and those who wish to support us.

None of us has read all of the works published by other members. Membership does not imply that Connie Rossini or other members endorse an author’s work. While we strive to help one another improve our craft for the glory of God, we do not examine books for quality of writing. We will, however, rescind the membership of anyone who publishes obscene or otherwise immoral or anti-Catholic works.

If you wish to join us, email Connie at crossini4774 at comcast dot net or request membership on Google+.

  1. My name is Michael cretaro. I am a very devout Roman Catholic. 52 yrs. Of age. Single. Never married. No children. I am writing a book called questions from the creator which takes questions from the bible, I use the didache catholic bible. And answer them in a 3-4 page format with questions for reflection at the end of each chapter. I have about 60 questions and in ms word about 200 or so pages. Who should I choose for self publishing? I am not concerned with money or fame but with people reading so as to get closer to god.
